Annotated Table of Contents

My earlier piece of writing displays how I came into my English freshman year straight out of high school.

I chose my Selma (1965) piece from my English 1020 class because it shows my skills of research and how to express. I also chose this piece because I believe it is my best piece since I been in college.

My diagnostic essay is a demonstration of how I came into English 1021 and can be seen as the starting point for the journey of improving.

The revised essay of my diagnostic essay is to show my improvements throughout this course. There is room for improvement which I plan on doing.

The visual analysis essay is a step up from my diagnostic essay and it’s coming along with the improvements.

The revised copy of the visual analysis essay is showing improvement as I went through this course this term.

The scene analysis essay was the most difficult for me.  This essay shows my limited ability of how to properly analyze. Unfortunately, this essay demonstrates the concept of critical thinking.

The copy of my scene analysis essay displays what I gained halfway through this course. This essay is a major improvement for me as well.

The blog entries show my ability to free write and write down what comes to mind when analyzing a scene and/ or picture.

Each of my blog entries displays my ability to analyze and free write.

The reflective essay shows my improvements throughout this whole course from start to finish. Writing this reflective essay was very easy for me to do considering I saw my growth.
